Everything you need to know before attending a wedding at M Lazy C Ranch — how to get there, what to pack for Colorado weather, and where to stay just steps from the ceremony at La Casa Noche.
M Lazy C Ranch is a historic working ranch and wedding venue tucked into the pines of Lake George, Colorado, bordering Pike National Forest. The property blends rustic log cabins, an open-air ceremony grove, and panoramic Rocky Mountain views. La Casa Noche is a tiny house rental located on the ranch — walk to the ceremony site in minutes.
La Casa Noche is independently owned and not affiliated with M Lazy C Ranch. Guests staying with us are welcome to enjoy the venue amenities available to them during their event.
M Lazy C Ranch is roughly a 90-minute drive southwest of Denver International Airport (DEN) and about 45 minutes northwest of Colorado Springs (COS). Most guests fly into DEN and rent a car — rideshare and taxi service is not reliable this far into the mountains.
The final approach to the ranch is on well-maintained dirt roads. A standard passenger vehicle is fine in dry weather; a car with higher clearance is more comfortable if snow is in the forecast.
If you're coming from sea level, plan a slower first day. Drink extra water, ease off alcohol and caffeine, and give yourself time to acclimate before dancing at 8,600 feet.
La Casa Noche is a design-forward tiny house on the ranch itself, built for two. Sleep steps from the ceremony grove, wake up to coffee on a private deck in the pines, and skip the late-night drive back down the mountain.
